How it works?

This year’s Africa Cup of Nations, which has been postponed twice, will feature a total of 24 teams.

The countries are divided into six groups, of which the first two will advance to the round of 16 of the Copa Africa.

They will be joined by the four best third-place teams, which means whoever finishes last will be eliminated and the same goes for the two countries that finish in third.

From then on, it’s as anyone would expect as the next playoffs will start with the quarterfinals.
