PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Sen. Bob Casey has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Pennsylvania senator said he tests regularly for COVID and got a positive result Tuesday afternoon. He said he was vaccinated and asymptomatic.
I test regularly for COVID-19 and late in the afternoon I tested positive with a breakthrough case. I am grateful to be asymptomatic but per CDC guidelines I will be in isolation for 5 days. This is a reminder that the pandemic is not over yet. Please get vaccinated and refreshed.

He said it was a reminder that the pandemic “is not over yet”. He encouraged people to get vaccinated and strengthened.
