WHAT happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas. Especially when two partners come to visit and get married.
Despite all the sins in Sin City, there are many saints who say yes.
And that includes a plethora of cast members and other famous celebrities who are in love
KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN AND TRAVIS SCOTT
The latest couple to declare their love in Las Vegas is Kourtney Kardashian and drummer Travis Scott, who tied the knot in secret at a Las Vegas chapel early Monday morning.
This comes just six months after the rocker proposed to Keeping Up With the Kardashians grad Kourtney.
The couple are said to have tied the knot at the One Love Wedding Chapel.
Although Travis, 46, and Kourtney, 42, have reportedly exchanged vows, The Sun can confirm that the famous couple did not receive a marriage license before the ceremony in Vegas.
A source close to the stars also told The Sun that the event was “just for fun” and is not yet official.
BRITNEY SPEARS AND JASON ALEXANDER
Britney Spears’ life was far from easy and drama-free, and it seemed like her first wedding would be no different.
The morning after she tied the knot with childhood sweetheart Jason Alexander in 2004, it was said “all hell broke loose” for not telling the singer’s mother.
The marriage was annulled 55 hours after the 4am ceremony amid claims Britney had “no sympathy for her actions”.
KELLY RIPA AND MARK CONSUELOS
In 1996, after just a year of dating, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos broke up in Vegas.
Kelly said Mark proposed to him one night while they were eating pizza and drinking wine.
The next day, they dropped everything and headed to Vegas for a wedding ceremony.
LILY ALLEN AND DAVID HARBOR
Lily and David pulled out all the stops when they tied the knot in 2020.
They tied the knot at the celebrity-friendly Graceland Wedding Chapel and were treated to a performance by Brendan Paul, one of the strip’s most famous Elvis impersonators.
Shortly after the ceremony, the newlyweds skipped a traditional sit-down meal to visit popular chain In-N-Out Burger with Lily’s daughters, Marnie and Ethel.
It seemed Lily wasn’t worried about spilling sauce or grease on her expensive Dior blazer dress or veil while munching on a juicy cheeseburger.
PAMERLA ANDERSON AND RICK SALOMON
Former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson has been married five times and seems to prefer tying the knot in Vegas as she has tied the knot twice there to the same man.
She was first married at The Mirage Hotel in 2007 to longtime boyfriend Rick Salomon, who made a fortune selling a sex tape of himself and Paris Hilton
White petals were scattered across the 3,000-foot space and Sade’s 1992 hit No Ordinary Love was played during the service.
Playboy icon Pam wore a mini dress while Rick donned a black tuxedo and one of his signature black beanie hats for the 90-minute ceremony.
Four months later, however, the couple’s marriage was annulled, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
CARMEN ELECTRA AND DENNIS RODMAN
Scary Movie actress Carmen Electra and her basketballer boyfriend Dennis Rodman joined the list of celebrities to be dragged in Vegas in 1998.
But nine days later, Dennis filed an annulment, claiming he wasn’t sane when he made the decision.
It was followed by reports from People magazine, which claimed the ceremony took place after “a late-night bend” in Sin City.
Dennis and Carmen reconciled and tried to make things right, but filed for divorce a year later while alleging infidelity throughout their marriage.
BRUCE WILLIS AND DEMI MOORE
Not long after meeting in 1987, the two embarked on an impromptu trip to Las Vegas, where Bruce popped the question.
The love-struck couple got married in their suite at the Golden Nugget Hotel with just a handful of guests.
In her 2019 memoir, Demi said, “We were walking to the gaming tables when Bruce said, ‘I think we should get married.’ We joked about it on the flight there, but suddenly it didn’t seem like he was joking anymore.”
In 1998, after more than a decade of marriage, the couple released a statement saying they were separating.
But the two remained close and Demi supports Bruce in his battle with aphasia
NICOLAS CAGE AND ERIKA KOIKE
National Treasure actor Nicolas Cage seems to be a big fan of a Sin City wedding, having married there at least twice.
The ultra-mysterious star was tied to Erika Koike in 2019, but their marriage lasted just four days before Nicolas filed for an annulment.
He claimed to have been “too drunk” to agree and later told The New York Times Magazine he was “pretty upset” by how it ended.
Though his marriage to Erika ended badly in Vegas, he seemed unaffected by the experience as he remarried there in February 2021
ANGELINA JOLIE AND BILLY BOB THORNTON
To prove that vials of blood are thicker than water, Angelina and Billy Bob married after a two-month hurricane romance in 2000, but many had their doubts.
With Angelina in a green cropped t-shirt and Billy Bob in a trucker hat, it looked more like they were leaving a movie set than a wedding venue.
The couple, who had a 20-year age gap, were married for two years before separating and divorcing in 2003.
SHIA LABEOUF AND MIA GOTH
Shia and Mia first tied the knot in 2016 but split in 2018 when a rep for Even Stevens’ former confirmed the news at the time.
They said: “Shia and Mia have filed for divorce. The separation is amicable and all details of the divorce proceedings remain confidential.”
The two first met in 2012 while filming Nymphomaniac: Vol. II and would marry four years later.
Earlier this month, the on-and-off couple welcomed their first child together when the actress was spotted without a baby bump.
