Season 4 isn’t coming to Netflix in September 2022

The list of new Netflix shows and movies coming in September is out, and we’ve flipped through it to see all the upcoming exciting releases. However, we could not find You Season 4 somewhere on the list. Honestly, this is sad news, but not at all surprising.

We didn’t expect Season 4 to come out this September. Why? Well, the production is on You Season 4 was recently completed. Cameras started rolling in March and Packed at the end of August. Now season four should be in post-production, which can be a lengthy process.

Once the episodes are edited to perfection, we should see You Season 4 is coming to Netflix. We don’t know exactly how long post-production will take, but it can take up to eight months for Netflix shows. However, we don’t expect post-production for a show to take that long You. We’re probably looking at about six months of post-production.

Six months seems like a reasonable amount of time for post-production, given that the last two seasons were equal in length. So what does that mean for them? You Season 4 release date?

When could You season 4 come out on Netflix?

Unfortunately, Netflix hasn’t announced an official release date yet. We’ll likely hear a release date announcement once the show nears the end of post-production. However, in the meantime, we’re happy to share our release predictions for the thriller series.

If the show spends six months in post-production, we won’t see season four in 2022. After six months in post-production we would be considering a February 2023 release. However, if post-production is able to whittle it down to four months, then we could see season four sometime in December 2022.

But as much as we would like to see You Season 4 by the end of the year, it just doesn’t seem possible at the moment. We’re more likely to see an early 2023 release. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens. For now, though, expect Season 4 to come out sometime in early 2023.
