There’s a lot to look forward to when it comes to K-Dramas on Netflix. The good news is that Squid Game Season 2 is officially happening. That’s all the good news we have for now.

It’s not on Netflix’s upcoming releases list for April 2022. That doesn’t surprise us too much. It wasn’t until earlier this year that Netflix finally confirmed that the series had indeed been renewed, after months of questions. The series needs work, and this is where we come across some bad news.

When is Squid Game season 2 coming to Netflix?

Netflix hasn’t set a date yet, and that’s not too shocking to hear. It turns out that filming for the season hasn’t started yet. The writing hasn’t even started yet.

At the Critics Choice Awards diversity learned that the story was still in the mind of creator Hwang Dong-hyuk. Nothing is written on the site yet, and that means there are no scripts to start filming. It looks like this series will be a long wait. We know it will be worth the wait when it finally arrives.

The second season follows Seong Gi-hun after the events of the first season. It’s time to find out what he’s going to do now that he’s decided not to get on the plane. He wants to put an end to the games, but is there a way to do that?

It’s not like the frontman wants to end the games. He’s pretty happy helming the show. It turns out he was a former winner of the games, and we’ll find out how he went from fronting to fronting.

Squid Game can be streamed on Netflix. Stay tuned in for the latest updates Squid Game Season 2.
