Season 2 of Ratched isn’t coming to Netflix in April 2022

Unfortunately we have to announce this rattled Season 2 is not coming to Netflix in April 2022. At this point, I doubt this comes as a surprise to anyone considering Netflix hasn’t given us any updates on this show in a long time.

The first season of rattled premiered back in 2020, and we still don’t know when filming for the second season will begin. Netflix has ordered two seasons of the show (18 episodes total) ahead of the premiere, but has yet to give us an update on when we could get Season 2.

That’s somewhat understandable, though, given that showrunner Ryan Murphy and star Sarah Paulson are in high demand. Series star Cynthia Nixon was also busy filming Sex and the City follow up And just like that at HBO.

But the first season has already aired. Hopefully, rattled Season 2 filming will begin earlier And just like that Season 2, or there could be an even longer wait between seasons, which seems almost ridiculous at this point.

Ratched release updates for Season 2

It’s March 2022 and we still don’t know when rattled Season 2 begins filming. Many have predicted the show will return to production this summer. That seems increasingly unlikely rattled will return in 2022. If that’s the case, it probably won’t be until very late in the year, possibly November or December, and even that’s pushing it forward.

At this point, we likely won’t see the show return until 2023. It’s hard to gauge because we know Murphy’s on it, too American Horror Story (who has at least three more seasons to go on FX) and its Hulu spinoff American Horror Stories.

Paulson doesn’t seem to have any immediate scheduling conflicts like she has with her recent projects Impeachment: American Crime Story and American Horror Story: Double Feature have already been broadcast.

But Murphy is busy juggling several upcoming projects, and Finn Wittrock is also slated to start filming for HBO Max Green Lantern series soon. With such a busy cast, it’s easy to see why it took so long to get them rattled Season 2 started.
