STANTON, Texas – A Stanton man is looking for some answers after he said his pickup truck was stolen.
Felix Mills, the owner of the stolen pickup truck, said he is searching and will continue to search. He said, “This is the only important thing I’ve ever stolen, you know, hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of things, ever.”
Mills said he’s never had a truck of such value stolen before, but now in the last week he’s had three separate cases, all in different states.
“I had a mixed system trailer, stolen in Jonesborough, Arkansas that night, and then one of my subcontractors stole a trailer from him,” Mills said. in Louisiana last week,” Mills said.
After reaching out to the public on his Facebook and other groups, and on top of that setting out a $10,000 reward for the return of the pickup, Mills was shocked at the response he received. He noticed how many others had had similar experiences.
“I just typed in stolen Texas Semis and there is a page devoted to that. There are many people who have encountered similar cases, quite often. and the sheriff from Midland says this happens every day down there,” adds Mills.
He said he did all he really could, and was devastated by the incident.
Mills said, “There’s nothing like a whole car, and a trailer, a $120,000 pickup and a $60,000 trailer, is gone.”
But this won’t stop Mills from continuing his search and he just hopes those around him won’t give up hope.
