A SCHOOLGIRL who stabbed a talented musician when she was 14 years old has been jailed.
The killer, now 15, stabbed the blade into the chest of 24-year-old Nimroy Hendricks.
Nim, as was known to friends, knew her attacker, who could not be named for legal reasons.
Experts said the girl was suffering from “significant mental abnormalities” at the time of the 2020 attack in Crawley.
Her admission to manslaughter on the pretext of extenuating liability was accepted by the Bristol crown court.
She was sentenced to nine years, five in custody and four with a license to practice.
Police Chief Andy Wolstenholme, of Sussex Police, said: “Nim is very concerned. He is a talented musician and loves life.”
