Schitt’s Creek is leaving Netflix in 2022 (find out when and where it’s moving)

A popular series is leaving Netflix this year, and we’re having a hard time accepting that as true. The show in question is the popular comedy Schott’s Creek. Unfortunately it will be leaving our favorite streamer later this year so make sure you watch as much as possible before the departure date. But if you can’t catch all six seasons beforehand, we’ve shared where the show will be available to stream next.

Schott’s Creek is a Canadian sitcom created by the incredibly talented Dan Levy and his father Eugene Levy. The story follows the life of the wealthy Rose family, who suddenly find themselves broke and move to a small town called Schitt’s Creek, which they once bought for fun. Forced to live in a motel, the formerly wealthy family must adjust to their new normal.

The comedy series was very successful, winning various awards over the course of its run, including two ACTRA Awards and 18 Canadian Screen Awards. It has also won two Golden Globe Awards and nine Emmy Awards. The show really was a force to be reckoned with during its run.

It’s incredibly funny, shows positive representation of the LGBTQ+ community, and has likable characters and excellent storylines. We hate to see this amazing series go away, but I don’t think we have a choice. Read on to find out when Schott’s Creek will leave Netflix and where it will stream next.

When is Schitt’s Creek leaving Netflix?

As Variety reports, Schott’s Creek will leave Netflix on Monday October 3, 2022. That means the last day to watch all six seasons of the comedy series on Netflix is October 2nd.

October is still a long way off, so I think you’ll manage to watch the full series by the departure date if you’re persistent.

Where to Stream Schitt’s Creek?

On October 3rd, the full series will stream exclusively on Hulu. To get access to all six seasons, you’ll need to subscribe to the streaming service.

Although the TV show will soon be leaving Netflix, there is still a decent selection of comedy series remaining on the streamer for the time being. We recommend watching the Netflix Originals The unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Working Moms and fuller house. There is also some good licensed content on the platform such as: The good place, community and new girl.
