Scarlett Moffatt Weeps While Trying to Sing Opera Live for Comic Relief

SCARLETT Moffatt broke down in tears before attempting to sing live opera for Comic Relief.

The 31-year-old became overwhelmed after watching the professionals perform what she would have to perform on stage in front of millions of people.

“I haven’t even sung yet and I’m already crying,” she sobbed.

After just 24 hours of rehearsal, Scarlett will perform alongside famous stars like Tamzin Outhwaite and Rosie Jones.

Dressed up in the studio getting ready to perform, Scarlett joked: “This might surprise some people, but I’m not a professional singer.”

She added: “This week was the first time I learned to sing.

“I really enjoy listening to opera, but I don’t understand it.

“I’m just controlling it and hoping it will sound like it does on the radio.”
