A quick glimpse of Al and his wife Deborah Roberts’ Valentine’s Day issue was shown on screen.
“Check it out, there are great photos in there,” said co-host Carson Daly of the film, which starred Al and Deborah, titled To Love & to Cherish.
“There’s Al and his beautiful wife, Deborah,” Carson pointed out.
He continued, speaking to Al, “This is the Valentine’s Day special, your wife describes this photo of your wedding in New York as running into the future. How do you remember this picture, Al?”

Al quickly replied, “Well, I remember as soon as I was done, they put some ropes on me and I floated over the Thanksgiving Day Parade.”
His comment about his weight in the photo caused co-host Savannah Guthrie to exclaim, “Oh stop it!” as she playfully slapped his shoulder with a rolled-up poster.
“It was a beautiful moment,” Savannah pointed out while Al laughed at his joke.
“It was Deborah’s idea,” he said, getting serious. “It was at Essex House, down Central Park South, and we ran down, and it was just a moment for us.”

OH MY GUTHRIE!
Meanwhile, Savannah revealed some secret work she had done on her body.
On live TV, she admitted she’s a “bad girl” after getting a tattoo.
On Tuesday’s show, Savannah sat down with Drew Barrymore and Sheinelle Jones to discuss their friendship, career and tattoos.
Drew and Savannah talked about hanging out after work or going to each other’s houses and that they had plans to hang out after this interview.
“Shall we tell her what we’re doing?” Drew turned to Savannah.
“Yes. Tell me,” Sheinelle said.
“We’re getting a tattoo today,” Savannah told her.
Sheinelle sat in shock and didn’t say anything for a few seconds.
Drew shared that this is her “11th birthday”. or 12.” tattoo, but it was Savannah’s first.
Savannah said she was nervous but excited to get it done.
After the interview aired, Savannah sat in the studio with her Today co-hosts and talked about the tattoo.
She showed it to the camera and it said “all my love” in a handwritten font.
“This is an exact copy of my father’s handwriting, which I love,” Savannah explained.
“He wrote my mother a love letter and this is his writing and this is the first time in my life I’m 51 years old that I’ve had a tattoo that I wanted to have a tattoo.”
She continued, “It’s not just his writing, so he’s with me, but I’m trying to make it my mantra for life. More love.”
Savannah’s father died of a heart attack when she was 16 years old.
The mother-of-two explained to her co-hosts that it really didn’t hurt at all and felt like a pinprick.
She also said this is the first time she’s told her mother about it – live on TV.
The host continued to talk to Drew about her Netflix show and said she had a cameo on it.
She also told her co-hosts that she wanted a cameo in Charlie’s Angels 4, which Drew was a part of, but it never came about.
Carson Daly said she was an angel and Savannah joked, “Not with that tattoo. No, I’m a bad girl.”
PRINCESS POWER
However, Savannah’s new career opportunity is far from “bad”.
Princess Power is a fruit-based cartoon about princesses who come from different kingdoms and use lots of girl power to achieve anything they set their minds to.
They all accept their differences and work to be stronger together, sending a message of strength to young viewers.
It is based on Savannah’s children’s book series Princesses Wear Pants, co-authored with Allison Oppenheim.
The series features the characters Penny Pineapple, Bea Blueberry, Rita Raspberry and Kira Kiwi.

Savannah is the executive producer on the series alongside Drew.
Princess Power began streaming on January 30th.
