San Francisco international airport terminal closed after ‘personal threats’ were reported as police rushed to the scene

A THREATENING individual is said to have been at San Francisco International Airport this morning causing the terminal to close.

Police were “on the spot with individuals” possibly armed, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

The airport said on its official Twitter page that police were dealing with “an incident.”

“Passengers in the area can be guided around the activity,” the account added.

A local NBC reporter said police engaged a “threatening individual”, however, it was not clear what he was doing.

Flight operations are still unaffected.

A traffic warning was also issued, as one terminal at the airport was closed.
