Saka doubles up – not only is he in Team of the Week, but he’s also FIFA 23 March Player of the Month

AFTER Marcus Rashford’s three-time dominance of Player of the Month (POTM), Bukayo Saka has taken the crown.
Unlike Rashford, this was Saka’s first time at the helm despite a stellar season.

FIFA 23’s POTM isn’t usually controversial, and Saka seemed like the clear pick to win.
This is because players are voting for the POTM, meaning Saka’s win here was achieved by popular vote.
Saka has had some great results this March, scoring two goals and an assist in the 4-1 win over Crystal Palace.
The Arsenal winger also scored a goal and an assist in the 4-0 win over Everton earlier in the month.
The young forward has been influential at Arsenal’s other Premier League games this month.
He started in all of the Gunners’ league games in March as they won all 4 games to take the title race.
Saka has also impressed at international level, scoring a top corner goal in England’s 2-0 win over Ukraine at Wembley.
To celebrate the win, Saka received a new FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) card with improved stats.
Matching Rashford’s February card, Saka has a huge boost to an 88 overall rating.
Rashford and his Man Utd pal were unlikely to pick up the award again in March as the team suffered a crushing 7-0 loss to Liverpool.
Here are Saka’s stats compared to his basemap and how much they’ve improved.
- In total – 82 / 88 (+6)
- pacing – 84 / 91 (+7)
- Shoot – 74 / 84 (+10)
- pass – 78 / 85 (+7)
- dribbling – 83 / 89 (+6)
- defense – 65 / 70 (+5)
- Physically – 65 / 71 (+6)
