A SADISTIC teenager sentenced to life in prison for the horrific homophobic murder of a doctor was, according to her former neighbors, a “daddy’s girl” who had fallen apart after her parents’ divorce.
Dionne Timms-Williams, 17, was part of a gang that included father-of-two, Dr. Gary Jenkins to death and laughed when the 54-year-old begged her to stop.
Last week she was jailed for life at Cardiff Crown Court aged at least 17 years and 125 days.
In her mugshot, the grinning teenager grins at the camerawho shows no remorse for her terrible crimes.
Her fellow killers Jason Edwards, 25, and Lee Strickland, 36, were charged with the murder of Dr. Jenkins also sentenced to life in prison on July 20 last year in Bute Park, Cardiff.
The nauseating attack was captured in a harrowing 15-minute clip in which Dr. Jenkins hears “why” and “please stop” pleading before his agonized moans subside.
Timms-Williams, then just 16, can be heard shouting “money” and “now” before unleashing a series of homophobic slurs against the father of two.
Now her former neighbors have spoken of their shock that the former “quiet” girl with “lovely parents” could commit something so heinous.
“Everyone here is absolutely stunned by this horrific murder,” a neighbor told The Sun. “Dionne comes from two lovely parents, but she moved out and did that.”
Raised in the village of Creigau, seven miles northwest of Cardiff, those who knew Timms-Williams said she was “distraught” when her parents split, but that her actions still made no sense.
“Whatever went wrong in her life, that’s just nasty and she deserves whatever she’s getting now,” the neighbor added. “She should be behind bars for the rest of her life for doing what she did.”
Another neighbor, who asked not to be named, said: “Believe it or not, Dionne was a pretty girl. She was very quiet but always friendly and polite.”
They said she was a “daddy’s girl” who spent all her free time with her mechanic father, Dale, helping him fix vehicles.
She told people that when she left school, she wanted to be a mechanic like her father.
‘JEKYLL AND HYDE’
But when Dale left her and her mother, Lisa, three years ago, locals said the teenager had completely changed
“She was never the same,” the neighbor added. “She started hanging out with kids who were up to no good, and started drinking and smoking weed.”
They continued, “She wouldn’t say hello anymore if you saw her on the street and you could tell she just got out of control.”
The neighbor said the details emerging from the courtroom about the murder of Dr. Jenkins came were “disgusting”.
Neighbors in the respectable cul-de-sac where she lived previously described the teen as a Jekyll and Hyde character whose innocent demeanor changed when she started using drugs.
“She used to make decorations out of wildflowers and sell them for charity,” a local told The Sun Online.
They added, “She was sweet and pretty growing up and never had any problems — it’s hard to believe what happened.”
The neighbor said that Timms-Williams has “gone out of joint” in recent years.
“She was like Jekyll and Hyde, there was a big change in her. I think most people in the village knew that she was playing drugs. She could look very empty at times.”
“EVIL AND SADISTIC”
The consulting psychiatrist Dr. Jenkins, who lived alone in Cardiff after separating from his wife six years ago, was hospitalized for his injuries but died two weeks later.
In the chilling audio recording of the murder, Timms-Williams can be heard demanding “Get down,” “Do it all over again,” “Do it,” “Hit him again,” before a male voice adds, “Stamp on his too.” stomp on the head.”
The attack was indiscriminate and motivated by “greed, homophobia and a clear penchant for violence,” the court said.
Viewer Louis Williams, who valiantly tried to intervene to stop the attack, described the teenager as “fucking evil and sadistic.”
After the attack, the three hugged and partied in disgusting displays captured on CCTV.
Timms-Williams then left Edwards and Strickland and quietly went to a gas station to charge her phone.
At 2:02 a.m., her mother texts her and asks, “Would you like a pick-up? xx,” before replying, “No, I’m fine, thanks.”
She then went to a friend, had Dr. Jenkins’ unconscious body near the Summerhouse Cafe and returned home the next day.
PLAYED THE VICTIM
Cynically, she later tried to claim to police that she had been forced to take part in the attack because she was “fearing for her life.”
Wrapping herself in a blanket during her police interview In order to appear innocent, she told police: “I saw one of the men throw a punch. I saw him fall to the ground. They both kicked and punched.
“They said ‘come on’ for me to join. I was scared and scared for my life. I thought if I didn’t do what he wanted I would die. I couldn’t believe what was going on.
“I’ve never been alone downtown at night. I have never experienced anything like this in my life.”
dr Jenkins was bisexual and was well known among friends and colleagues for visiting Bute Park and having same-sex sex with other men.
Prosecutors said the three killers were “looking for vulnerable gay men who were in the park for sex” to rob.

Neighbor Dionne Timms-Williams
After the attack, Dr. Jenkins was taken to the University Hospital of Wales but died two weeks later from an “unsurvivable brain injury”.
His injuries included multiple brain hemorrhages, a broken jaw, a broken nose, swelling of the skull, and multiple broken ribs.
In a statement on the impact of the victim, his wife said the family’s “world collapsed” when they learned of the attack.
She said: “As a family we were devastated to find out what happened to Gary as he was such a kind soul who would not hurt anyone.
“Gary was smart and funny and the heart and soul of every party.
“After seeing Gary unconscious and unrecognizable in the hospital, we all had to face the nightmare of what happened to him.”
Ms Jenkins said her daughters struggled at school and had recurring nightmares after their father’s death.
She said her husband “always went the extra mile” for his patients and was a “human, kind, compassionate” doctor.
“We can’t bring Gary back,” she added. “In this case there are no winners, only losers.”
Edwards, Strickland and Timms-Williams pleaded guilty to manslaughter, robbery and assault.
All three were found guilty of murder on February 3 after a trial at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court and were convicted by Cardiff Crown Court earlier this month.
