Ryan Seacrest is mocked by fans for making a big mistake in new photo as they urge live co-host to ‘take lessons’

RYAN SEACREST has been mocked by fans for mishandling a knife in a new Instagram photo.

The Live with Kelly and Ryan host was seen using a set of handcrafted Coolina brand knives to chop up herbs for a meal in a new photo.

Ryan captioned his photo: “However you cut it, my new chef’s knife set from @coolina_usa is put to good use 🔪 Lunch is a kale salad with tahini dressing and snappers with sundried tomatoes and herbs.”

Dressed in a long-sleeved gray shirt and trousers, Ryan looked like he was heavily focused on the task at hand.

He held a knife in his hand and a towel slung over his shoulder, a pose that fans struggled with.

One user left a rather harsh comment urging the host to learn how to hold their knives properly.

“Ryan, you need another lesson from a pro on how to hold a knife and cut safely.”

One concerned fan begged: “Ryan… please please please keep your fancy knives right! No index finger should be used.”

Another wrote: “Casualty is waiting right there. Stay safe.”

Not all commenters wanted to poke fun at Ryan, however, as some took time to defend him.

One disgruntled fan urged others to leave the daytime presenter alone: ​​”He’s perfectly capable of using a knife when you get to his platforms if you have nothing positive to say carry on!!”

Ryan also shared a photo of his finished meal, but fans were much more interested in telling him what he got wrong.

Meanwhile, Ryan went missing from the live talk show on Thursday.

This comes just a day after Kelly Ripa announced her new gig — a podcast.

On Thursday’s episode, the show’s DJ, Deja Vu, went out with Kelly to host the show.

The women walked out arm in arm and then sat down at the desk.

“Welcome everyone. It’s Thursday February 23, 2023 and stepping in for Ryan today is deja vu,” Kelly said.

Deja waved as Kelly smiled and said, “My lady.”

Ryan remained missing throughout the show.

Previously, Ryan slammed co-host Kelly during a tense on-air moment after she brutally corrected him during a segment.

The live stars have had their fair share of arguments in recent years as they competed in front of a studio audience.

Now Ryan, 48, has blasted his co-star Kelly, 52, during an awkward encounter as the two dog names being debated in America.

During Friday’s episode, the TV personality began reading from a list of “top dog names,” saying, “Rosie tops the list.”

However, his blonde counterpart quickly jumped in to correct him that “Rosie” was actually at the bottom of the list.

The pair then began arguing back and forth about whether or not Ryan was reading the list in order.

“I’m doing America’s top 40 countdown,” the producer complained in a frustrated tone.

Kelly shot back, “Oh, are you starting with number one? Folks, spoiler alert, Ryan starts at number one in America’s Top 40,” as the crowd laughed in response.

Ryan continued to complain, claiming that his reading order was correct.

Eventually, the host Kelly relented and said, “What should I do next?”
