RYAN Seacrest only recently landed the job as the new host of Wheel of Fortune, but he’s already planning his next big move.

The 48-year-old presenter revealed that he knows exactly what project he would “love” to do next – and fans have been begging him to take on this project for years.

On Monday, Ryan was a guest on Good Morning America to discuss his longtime hosting gig on American Idol and his upcoming role as host on Wheel of Fortune.

After expressing his excitement about replacing Pat Sajack as the popular game show’s next host, the radio star opened up about another big excitement in his life.

Robin Roberts asked him about his love of food and how it’s recently become part of his job on American Idol

The GMA host said, “Going back to American Idol for a moment, I hear the contestants’ families have started giving you food. And you’re a foodie.”

Ryan admitted that this happened a lot at the fair because everyone knows he’s a “huge foodie.”

The star then revealed that he would like to turn this hobby into a career next.

“That’s the only show I haven’t done yet, which is a food show. Which I would like to do one day,” he said.

Robin was shocked that Ryan, who also hosts a radio show and recently left his gig as co-host of Live with Kelly Ripa, could even consider future appearances and told him: “Come on, would you mind.” leave the rest of us?!”

Ryan teased back, “What? What are you talking about? There are seven days a week. I mean, Sundays are slow for me.”

Going back to the original question, the American Idol host shared, “So the contestants started bringing meatballs from a restaurant they loved.

“They started bringing desserts and things like that.

“So I was well supplied with refreshments outside before the castings.”

As the segment came to a close, Linsey Davis, filling in for absent host Michael Strahan, teased, pointing at Ryan: “And anyone looking for a food show host.”

He laughed and insisted, “There must be someone in the building!”

Fans have long been begging for Ryan to have his own cooking show, as he often shows off his skills both live and on Instagram.

After leaving the talk show, he increased his kitchen content on social media.

Most recently, he shared photos and videos of himself cooking sea bass and shared the recipe in his caption.
