Kounde transfer plans “in effect,” say reports
Chelsea have reportedly ‘launched’ plans to sign Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde following a verbal agreement.
The Blues are set to lose Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen for FREE to Real Madrid and Barcelona this summer.
And according to Goal, Chelsea have laid out plans to sign long-term target Kounde from Sevilla once the Todd Boehly takeover is complete and sanctions end.
The 23-year-old has a verbal agreement to move this summer and wants a move to Stamford Bridge after talks collapsed last summer.
Sevilla are also said to be interested in finalizing a deal as early as possible so they can sign a replacement.
The LaLiga side want a fee of around £59m for the France international, who can play both centre-back and right-back.
