A ROYAL defense expert has urged the Met to investigate claims of sexual assault on Prince Andrew.
Dai Davies blasted the force for refusing to investigate.
“I want to know who made this decision and why,” he said.
“Did it get to the Met Commissioner, or even the Home Secretary?”
He called for a rethink after a US judge ruled a civil case could be continued.
Dai, the former director of Royal Guard for the Queen, added: “An investigation will give him the opportunity to clear his name.”
The force announced it was do not take the last action October after its latest review was prompted by her legal action against the Duke in the US.
Dai served as the Chief Executive of Scotland Yard.
Andrew has significantly removed from the Royal Family and stripped of his title this week.
