Roy Keane refuses to speak to Christian Eriksen as he jokingly snubs Man Utd hero over Denmark-Ireland game

ROY KEANE was in no mood to ask Christian Eriksen any questions after Manchester United’s win over Arsenal.

Because the United legend hasn’t forgiven the Danish playmaker for helping condemn Ireland to a humiliating 5-1 defeat in 2017.

Eriksen scored a hat-trick to end Ireland’s hopes of qualifying for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

So it was a hilarious sight as the midfielder joined Keane and the rest of the Sky Sports squad at Old Trafford.

Eriksen contributed to Arsenal’s 3-1 win and was ready to answer questions from the expert team.

But Keane joked: “I don’t have a question for you because I’m still upset with Dublin when you scored for Denmark.”

Eriksen replied: “Yes, I thought so.”

And Keane said, “I’m still mad at you.”

Eriksen kept the banter going, quipping: “It’s a good night too Dublin.”

And Keane agreed, “Yes, I bet you did.”

Eriksen joined United and new manager Erik ten Hag in the summer after a successful loan spell at Brentford last season.

And he played a key role in the home win against leaders Arsenal as Ten Hag praised his side’s performance.

He told the BBC: “We’re happy and satisfied with the win, also with the performance against a really good team – they played really well.”
