Ron Jeremy went senile on the last trip with Dennis Hof, believes the convicted Madam Heidi Fleiss, as she stands by the “rapist’s” side

PORN star Ron Jeremy was already showing signs of dementia years before he was declared unfit to stand trial on sex abuse charges, his girlfriend Heidi Fleiss has revealed.

Last week The US Sun reported that Jeremy, 69, believes he is filming sex scenes with naughty nurses at the psychiatric hospital where he is being held.

It came after a Los Angeles judge ruled he was mentally unfit to face dozens of counts of rape and sexual assault.

A source told how Jeremy – real name Ronald Hyatt – alternates between being in a catatonic state and believing he is on a porn shoot at Patton State Hospital in San Bernardino, California.

When he is in his right mind, he has been known to call for his late pimp friend Dennis Hof and Hollywood Madam Fleiss, the source said.

Speaking exclusively to The US Sun, Fleiss explained that she had already realized something was wrong with Jeremy the same day Hof, the Bunny Ranch brothel owner, died in October 2018 at the age of 72.

Fleiss, 57, said: “Dennis Hof and Johnny Buss, the owner of the Lakers, would celebrate their birthday together on the same day with a blowout at Bunny Ranch.

“My party days are long gone, so I waited until the party was over, caught a 7am flight and went to Dennis’ house to surprise him.

“We were hanging out, that was in the morning, and Dennis said to me, ‘Heidi, have you seen Ron? I’m so worried about him, it looks like he’s going to drop dead. He’s like a 100-year-old man, he’s so upset.”

“I said I hadn’t seen him lately but we walked over to Bunny Ranch and there were a bunch of people including Ron.

“The three of us then drove to Pahrump, where I live, because Dennis had to go to a political rally there because he was a candidate for the Nevada Convention.

“It was a six-hour drive, the three of us together, and we had a lot of fun, and then Dennis drops dead. It was so bizarre.

“But I did notice Ron walking slowly, speaking slowly, and there were definitely signs of deterioration.

“Ron overheard me telling someone this and he said, ‘Heidi, don’t you remember when those rich Persians hit me in the Ferrari in Beverly Hills? That’s why I walk slowly.”

“But it wasn’t, his cognitive abilities were slipping.”

Jeremy, nicknamed “The Hedgehog,” pleaded not guilty to 34 counts of sexual assault, including 12 counts of rape, in August 2021.

He was absent from court at the hearing at which he was declared unfit to stand trial on Tuesday last week.

Another hearing on whether to stay in the state hospital will take place next month.

Prosecutors have asked that he be reassessed regularly.

Fleiss, who ran an upscale prostitution ring in Tinseltown before her arrest in 1993, said Ron’s downfall was highlighted again when she spoke to him on the phone a year after Hof’s death.

It came when she called to ask if he wanted to go to lunch with her and the late Hustler tycoon Larry Flynt.

She said: “I’ll give you an idea of ​​how his cognitive abilities have evolved.

“I called him one day about Larry Flynt and he said, ‘You’re in my lobby?’

“I had to explain that it was about having lunch with Larry Flynt and he was like, ‘Who is that again? Are you in my lobby?’

“He had dementia, which was really shocking.”

Fleiss – whose black book of famous clients during her heyday included actors like Charlie Sheen – was arrested in a police stabbing in June 1993.

She was convicted of pandering and sentenced to three years in prison, but the conviction was overturned in 1996 due to jury misconduct.

She was separately found guilty of federal tax evasion and money laundering and sentenced to seven years in prison.

Fleiss served 20 months at the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California before being released into a transitional home in November 1998.

Today she runs a macaw sanctuary and lives with more than 40 of the exotic birds in Pahrump, Nevada.

Fleiss explained that her friendship with Jeremy dates back to shortly after her arrest in 1993.

She said: “He stopped by my store in Santa Monica and wanted me to do a rap video with him.

“I said, ‘I don’t think my judge will like that.’

“Then we both promoted female and male Viagra together.

“We flew to Canada together and I’m not kidding, the pilots and everyone on the plane bowed to Ron.

“Everywhere we went, he was treated like royalty.”

Despite the extremely serious charges against Jeremy for allegedly assaulting 21 women, Fleiss maintains his innocence.

She said: “He’s a good guy, he’s not a rapist, molester or predator.

“In a way I’m glad he has dementia and doesn’t have to accept the reality of this unfair thing that happened to him.

“I’m so glad to hear that in his head, he thinks he’s back on set and he’s not taking in what they did to him.”
