Roberts said last week that Laign paused her breast cancer treatments due to “complications” from chemotherapy.

On Monday, the GMA presenter tweeted a video message to her followers about recognizing her own gifts and talents.

After a fan asked her about Amber, she replied: “Amber had a relaxing weekend. Nice of you to ask.”

Roberts had told fans: “I hope you had a relaxing weekend and we’re so glad to start a brand new week with some with you.”

GMA host Roberts, 61, said last week that although Laign has stopped chemotherapy “for now,” the couple are hopeful about the road to remission.

The presenter told Entertainment Tonight that despite the complications, “the prognosis is still very good.”

“They’re working on it. We’ll find out.”

Roberts said she encourages Laign, who has been her partner for over 16 years, to stay positive.

“I’m just grateful that her spirits have been lifted,” she said.

“It’s been a bit tricky there lately when – because she just wanted to get through and have that wrench thrown in our way – but I could tell her, like most people [who] went through cancer [know]happens.”

Roberts is a cancer survivor herself; She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007 and went into remission after treatment.

Roberts also battled a rare blood disorder called myelodysplastic syndrome, which she contracted as a complication of the chemotherapy she was receiving for breast cancer.

The disorder led to her taking a leave of absence from the GMA in 2012 to undergo treatment.

The TV personality told the outlet that writing her book helped her come to terms with the ups and downs she and Laign had experienced.

“I was struggling and then I was like, ‘Robin, you have this book. You talk to people about their valleys and how to get out of them, and why not just listen to your own words? ‘” Roberts said.

“I can handle it. I have the power. I’ve been through it. I can help Amber. She’s helping me, so I was like, ‘Why me?’ in ‘Why Not Me?'”

Laign was diagnosed with breast cancer late last year, Roberts said in a Video posted on Twitter.
