Less than 24 hours later, he was dressed and booted outside his Cheshire home as he prepared for a special journey on the Liverpool bus.

He was seen holding hands with his wife Larissa, while his children also joined him for the occasion.

Numerous family members and friends were also spotted boarding the bus for the exclusive tour.

And Firmino was in high spirits as he posed for photos with neighbors as they came out to catch a glimpse of the striker and the giant Liverpool bus.

He also signed autographs for those who stood patiently with the cult hero for a moment next to the coach.

He says goodbye after a sensational eight-year stay on Merseyside.

Firmino has made 361 appearances for Liverpool, scoring 110 goals and providing 79 assists.

Among the trophies he has won are the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.

And it was an emotional farewell after the 1-1 draw with Villa.

Firmino broke down in tears as he took in the fans’ admiration.

Anfield worshipers proudly chanted his name to create an incredibly poignant moment.

James Milner came on as a substitute along with Firmino in his last Anfield game.

Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are the other players leaving the club this summer but they were not included in the matchday squad.

In addition to his brilliance on the field, he has also become a popular character off the field.

One reason for this is the characteristic white teeth, which shine like those of coach Jürgen Klopp.
