Robbie Williams was considering a career change after a bizarre incident at an LA hotel

ROBBIE Williams considered becoming a UFO hunter after spotting an “alien” object in the sky over 17 years ago.

The pop star, 48, said he was staying at a Beverly Hills hotel with a friend.

He remembers: “We sat on two loungers in the garden and looked up at the stars.

“Suddenly – silently overhead – what I can only describe as a square object.

“I’d say probably the size of a penalty box and a half.”

He continued, “It was matte black with artexing underneath and then hacienda-style yellow and black stripes, like it was this worker’s thing.

“It came in silently, I could have hit it with a tennis ball, and then it floated away.

“I could have hit him with a tennis ball. I was totally sober.”

But the Angels star said he decided not to pursue a career in UFO hunting because he reacted “embarrassingly and demeaningly” to coming out as a “tin hat type person”.
