Robb Elementary school shooting updates

SUSPECT Salvador Ramos allegedly killed 19 children and two teachers at a Texas elementary school on Tuesday, and the mass shooting has been likened to the Sandy Hook and Parkland tragedies.

The 18-year-old gunman opened fire on Robb Elementary, killing 21.

President Joe Biden said during his address that there have been 900 “incidents” on campus since the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting.

“I’m sick. We have to take action. And don’t tell me we can’t control this slaughter,” he said.

“What struck me is that this type of mass shooting doesn’t happen anywhere else in the world. Why?”

Governor Greg Abbott previously said that Ramos, a resident of Uvalde, abandoned his vehicle and entered the school around noon.

Abbott also confirmed that Ramos died, citing preliminary reports that Ramos was killed by responding officials.

Other victims injured in the shooting include a 66-year-old woman in critical condition, a 10-year-old girl in critical condition,
a 10 year old girl in good condition and a 9 year old girl in fair condition.
