Rihanna gave birth to a baby boy on May 13 in Los Angeles, TMZ first reported.

This is the first baby for the 34-year-old and her boyfriend A$AP Rocky.

However, along with the news of the birth, fans were expecting a name, but it has not yet been announced.

Rihanna first announced her pregnancy when she debuted her belly in January.

She and A$AP stood out in snowy New York City for a maternity shoot and the pictures quickly surfaced online.

The Barbados native was wearing a $5,000 pink coat as her bump showed through.

Rihanna was last seen in LA on Mother’s Day while she and A$AP had dinner at Giorgio Baldi’s.

Fans are eagerly awaiting an official announcement from the couple so they know what the baby’s name will be.

For no reason, fans believe Rihanna may have named her baby Red Ivy.

After she posted a photo of himself in a red shirt and hat In February, one fan replied, “Red Ivy Fenty is coming!”

Fenty is the Diamonds singer’s last name.

After it was revealed that she had given birth to a child, fans began speculating again and Red Ivy swarmed the internet.

While posing for VOGUE, Rihanna wore a red lace catsuit that resembled Ivy.

Some fans dubbed her Poison Ivy from Batman, which may be where the name came from.

Although nothing has been announced, Us Weekly revealed back in February that the couple would like to honor their heritage and give their boy a Barbadian name.

“Rihanna wants her Barbados heritage to be honored when naming her child. [as well as] ASAP’s roots,” a source told the outlet.

“They want both cultures to be involved. It is very important to them to pass on their heritage to their child.”

The Us Weekly insider added that since she has “such strong men and women in her family,” she has a lot of options to choose from.

A fan posted on Twitter that a hospital worker leaked news of the birth on Friday.

“Someone posted on Facebook that Rihanna had her baby at a hospital where they work and said it’s a boy talking about clearing this floor.

Fans speculated she was about to give birth as the Fenty Beauty founder regularly posted to social media, but came to a hard stop on May 10.

ROCK RELATIONSHIP

Before welcoming their son, Rihanna and A$AP went through some rough times.

Rumors circulated on the Internet that he had dropped out on the mother-to-be because of a cheating scandal.

Louis Pisano, an influencer with over 19,000 followers on Twitter, posted a tweet claiming the couple had split.

“Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have split. Rihanna broke up with him after she caught him cheating with shoe designer Amina Muaddi,” Louis wrote.

It was only a matter of minutes before the tweet went viral and fans flocked to express their concerns.

Neither Rihanna nor A$AP Rocky commented on these rumors to confirm whether they are true or not.

On Friday, April 15, 2022, TMZ reported that the rumors weren’t true, according to a source.

The source told TMZ the rumors were “100% false on both counts” and that the couple were “fine.”
