But with just five weeks to go until the start of Brazil’s World Cup season, his tournament now seems in doubt.

Richarlison went down injured in the Everton box just after half-time.

He was massaging his calf with a pained expression on his face as Spurs paramedics rushed over to tend to him.

The decision was quickly made that the 25-year-old could not continue against his former club.
