Rich Boy, 39, was arrested in Mobile, Alabama and charged with domestic violence, molestation and assault.

He was taken into custody after he was involved in a physical altercation with his mother and another family member, the Mobile Police Department told The US Sun.

The arrest comes as video circulating online appears to show the rapper in what appears to be an unrelated heated confrontation.

The clip features a shirtless rich boy wearing shorts and holding long-handled pruning shears.

The rapper was released on Monday, according to police.

Fans have taken to social media to take notice of the artist’s mental health.

Rich Boy, born Maurice Benjamin Richards, is best known for his 2006 hit song Throw Some D’s.

He’s kept a relatively low profile lately, but has had other touches of the law.

According to al.com, the rapper has been embroiled in a lawsuit since 2005 over a 2008 court ruling.

It stems from an incident involving the rapper and his brother, Irvin O. Richards Jr.

An accountant obtained the verdict after claiming injuries from ricocheting bullet fragments fired from a Cadillac in which the rapper and his brother were riding.

In 2008, a jury awarded the brothers $25,000 in compensatory damages and $312,500 in punitive damages.

Since then, finding and garnishing the rapper’s revenue streams has been a long and complex process.
