Ric Flair On His Fallout With WWE’s Becky Lynch

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair opened up about his past relationship with Becky Lynch and how he treated her like his own daughter during their first interaction.

Flair and Lynch failed, mainly due to possessing the catchphrase “The Man”, which the latter has used in WWE in recent years. Nature Boy feels that the catchphrase has been stolen from his iconic quote “To be a man, you must defeat a man”. Lynch shot back at Flair several times, while she also fell to Charlotte Flair.

On his Woooooo Nation Uncensored podcast, Ric Flair responded to Becky Lynch’s latest tweet about him where she says she’s on Ric Flair’s head. Flair laughed at that claim by the RAW Women’s Champion and said there was only Vince McMahon on his mind ever during his pro wrestling career. He also said that he treated Lynch like a daughter when they first met because she was a close friend of Charlotte Flair.

“It was crazy. I’ll tell you one thing, when I first met Becky, I treated her like my own daughter. She knew it, I knew it. I treated her. Treat her like your own daughter She and Ashley (Charlotte) are best friends They have traveled together, if you are Ashley’s friend, you know their lifestyle, because you are Ashley’s friend, you’re my friend. And I have nothing but respect for all women and they know it,” Flair said. (From 8:45 to 9:13)

Later in the podcast, Flair also said that he respects Becky Lynch’s work on the ring and is a huge fan of hers.

“I mean I know this sounds weird because everyone wants to think I (don’t like her), but I’m a huge Becky’s fan. 56)

Nature Boy also said he currently still offers Becky Lynch as a performer despite their feud.

Ric Flair is not happy at WWE and Lynch makes a lot of money on his catchphrase

“Work hard so that your heroes become your opponents. Then, getting so good, Ric Flair loses his mind every time you breathe” – Becky Lynch – February 2022

Flair alleges that WWE may have earn up to 30 million dollars from selling goods with the catchphrase “Man”. DDP has weighed in on the recent controversy Interview with Sportskeeda.

“Let’s just say WWE made all that money on that item. Flair is expecting a rebate. Like A) That’s mine. It’s mine, you know, because, As Vince said, when you talk about ‘To be a man, you have to beat that man,’ there’s only one guy. He’s said it a million times,” DDP said.

Nature Boy is no longer a part of WWE as he requested his release and was granted last year.
