RHONJ star Teresa Giudice’s fiancé Luis Ruelas sued because he “owed the seller $113,000” when his company filed for $1 million in bankruptcy

“REAL New Jersey Housewives” fiancé Teresa Giudice, Luis Ruelas, has been sued for “refusing to pay over $113,000” to a salesman at the grocery company he has an interest in.

Luis, 47, proposed to Teresa, 49, in October after a year of dating and has appeared on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

The Sun can exclusively reveal that Luis has been sued by a salesman at the grocery company he has a stake in for failing to pay $113,404.40.

In court filings obtained by The Sun, on September 23, 2021, CH Robinson Worldwide, Inc sued Produce Depot, Luis and a business partner.

The court filings allege that the company sold “fresh fruits and vegetables” to Luis’ company for “$113,404.40” on October 20, 2020 and November 13, 2020.

According to the court filing, “Produce Depot failed and, despite due requests, refused to pay for goods ordered, received and accepted by plaintiff.”

Plaintiff is also asking defendants to pay all attorneys’ fees and interest.

The lawsuit alleges that Luis and his business partner “are or were owners, officers, directors, members and/or at least 10 percent shareholders of Produce Depot during the relevant period, making them ‘responsible associations.'”

The plaintiff claimed the two men were “responsible for day-to-day operations” and “have full decision-making authority over Produce Depot’s assets.”

Luis fights back

Luis and the other defendants responded to the lawsuit in December 2021.

Luis and the business partner claimed they are “not persons in custody, control or administration” of the grocery store.

They asked the judge to dismiss the lawsuit.

The company, in which Luis had a stake, then filed filings the company filed for bankruptcy on March 2, 2022, and asked the judge to temporarily stay the court case.

While the judge approved the postponement for Produce Depot and the business partner, the trial for Luis and another defendant who was later added will continue.

The Sun can confirm that the company has filed for $1,660,488.10 in bankruptcy.

Luis is listed in bankruptcy in relation to the ongoing case.

SHOW GAME

While Teresa has praised her boyfriend for his over-the-top romantic gestures on the show, her RHONJ co-stars have been suspicious of his past.

The season began with her co-stars discussing a resurfaced video featuring Luis.

In the clip, the businessman can be seen shirtless surrounded by shirtless men he calls his “brothers.”

He’s standing on the beach and seems to be talking to one of his exes.

In the video he says: “I’m coming home to see you, to get engaged and to bring our family together and finally to get married and have a life together. I’m here since a week.”

He continued, “I love our children and I hope you take this message well. Thank you I love you. Thanks for your time. I hope this touches your heart… And I hope to come home to have the opportunity to speak to you and share my experiences of my life with you.”

Actress Traci Johnson called the video “bizarre” and a “red flag,” while Jackie Goldschneider found it “weird.”

Teresa’s sister-in-law Melissa Gorga said it was “crazy,” as Jennifer Aydin called it “weird shit.”

Teresa even once refused to film because of gossip about Luis.

Luis addressed the video later in the season after Margaret Josephs asked him about it.

He said later, “I grew up with a lot of trauma in my life. A friend of mine went out and started this thing called Warrior in California and a lot of men go back to their pain to see their pain get clarity.

“And I was in a relationship with a woman, so in that moment I had to learn to be vulnerable with that woman and tell her I’m sorry… because I didn’t want to commit to marriage, that’s what I want.” don’t tie me to a bad woman.

“So I apologized to a woman for not being honest and saying it’s over.”

But Margaret didn’t buy it as she said: “The video we all saw he suggested and now he’s saying it was a breakup video?”

ABUSE CLAIMS

In last week’s episode, Traci’s husband and former NFL player Tiki Barber asked Luis about allegations he molested an ex.

Luis denied the claims on the show.

In a mid-season teaser, Teresa said of Margaret, “She dragged my boyfriend through the mud.”

The two even seem to be getting over the feud physically.

The sun broke Luis was accused by an ex of engaging in “controlling and abusive” behavior from February 2019 to October 2019.

On May 20, the woman dismissed the lawsuit.

A rep for Luis did not respond to The Sun’s request for comment at the time.

Teresa and Luis quickly got serious when, after just a few months of dating, they bought a $3,350,000 mansion in Montville Township, New Jersey.
