Why Jackie is a part-time housewife
Though she could be a fan favorite, Jackie Goldschneider announced prior to the start of Season 13 that she will only be on the show part-time.
Making the decision wasn’t easy, but Goldschneider revealed that she had to make it for health reasons as she was recovering from an eating disorder.
“Of course, when Bravo approached me about casting for season 13, I was very excited to be back on the show because I love the show,” she recalled during an interview with PEOPLE in December 2022.
“But my recovery hasn’t been what I expected. It moved very slowly. I was still being triggered by stress and still needing a lot of intensive therapy.”
The mother-of-four noted that her “recovery was my priority.”
“I just wasn’t sure how to balance the time commitment on the show with my recovery,” she continued.
