Resident Evil 4 is out now.

Players are already praising the changes made to the classic game, and there’s more action to come.

Capcom announced that a free mode update for the game called The Mercenaries was coming.

While we’ve known Resident Evil 4’s release date for a while, the new mode didn’t have a firm launch date.

The Mercenaries will be released as free DLC April 7, 2023, for all platforms.

The mode was included in the original game and unlocked after you finished the main story.

The mercenaries give players waves of enemies to defeat in a limited time.

Players can then complete combos to maximize their score and collect pickups to extend the timer.

The mode included additional characters to unlock, each with their own unique weapon loadout.

If you managed to complete The Mercenaries with a five-star rank, you can unlock the hand cannon for the main story.

It’s not clear if the new mode will be the same in the remake, but we expect it to have the same base.

Hopefully, like the rest of the game, there will be additional features.
