The good nurse It is directed by Academy-nominated director Tobias Lindholm from a screenplay by Krysty Wilson-Cairns. It is based on the 2013 novel of the same name by Charles Graeber. FilmNation Entertainment and Protozoa Pictures produced the film.

Lionsgate was originally set to distribute the film before the entertainment company pulled out sometime in 2020. In 2021, Netflix bought streaming rights to the film for $25 million on the Berlin European Film Market, and now the thriller is a Netflix Original film.

Release date of The Good Nurse

Originally, Netflix announced that it will be released in autumn 2022. Now we have the official release date. The thriller will be released in select theaters on October 19th and then make its way to Netflix Wednesday October 26th. We got a sneak peek of the film in the Netflix 2022 Movie Preview video. A little preview appears at 1:45-1:46.
