Reece James set to return this week as Chelsea major injury ahead of Carabao Cup final against Liverpool

REECE JAMES will return to training this week to fuel Chelsea ahead of the Carabao Cup final.

The England international, 22, has become a complete full-back in Tuchel’s system.

James has since missed 12 games for Chelsea, leading to the Blues slumping in the title race.
But after seven weeks on the sidelines, he will train with the first team ahead of the Carabao Cup final.
Speaking ahead of Saturday’s win over Crystal Palace, Tuchel said: “He’s still in personal training, improving a lot, doing almost anything you can do in individual training and we I am waiting for him.

“The plan is that he will rejoin the group next week. Now that’s a long time, we’re talking about seven weeks, eight weeks.
“I know that everyone in the physical department is doing a great job, so when he comes in to coach the team we can trust that he has done a lot and that he is ready to go. willing to bear a certain amount of pressure and freely move and accelerate.
“Otherwise, they won’t let him practice freely for the team.”
