PSG superstar Neymar broke with tradition and played in celebration of his sister Rafaella Santos’ birthday.

The second leg comes tonight just two days before his sister’s March 11 birthday.

And if he avoids injury in Madrid, he will be fit enough to play against Bordeaux on Sunday.

Coincidentally, Neymar almost always shows up to knock on the door right before his sister celebrates her big day.

The birthday ‘curse’ began during the days of the Brazilian superstar playing at Barcelona in 2015.

He was suspended after receiving too many yellow cards and Barca allowed him to attend her birthday party.

And history repeated itself the following year, when Neymar received another suspension that allowed him to celebrate at her Disney-themed party.

In 2017, a muscle injury forced him out of action against Deportivo, a match scheduled for a day after Santos’ birthday.
