Real Madrid keep tabs on Son Heung-min while Carlo Ancelotti eyes shock transfer as the Spurs star ponders the future

REAL MADRID is reportedly keeping an eye on Tottenham star Son Heung-min as the South Korean ponders his future in north London.
The 30-year-old joined Spurs from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 for £22million and has been a revelation at the club.

He has contributed 136 goals and 76 assists in 341 games for the Lilywhites.
And his form over the last 12 months – during which he shared the Premier League Golden Boot with Mo Salah in May – saw him finish 11th in the Ballon d’Or last week.
But according to German outlet SPORT1, he is “carefully considering” his next career move as Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is “keeping an eye on him”.
Son’s current Tottenham contract does not expire until the end of the 2024/25 season.
But as he is now in his thirties he is aware that a move to a bigger club would have to come soon.
Despite a sensational seven years at Tottenham, he has yet to win a major trophy with the club.
He has reached two finals, losing the Champions League final to Liverpool in 2019 and the Carabao Cup final to Manchester City in 2021.
And they went through a rough patch recently under Antonio Conte.

After their best start to a Premier League season yet, Spurs have lost to Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle.
The three losses have left them five points behind the Gunners – after also playing a game more.
Meanwhile, Son has contributed five goals and two assists in all competitions so far this season.
But all three of his league goals came in the same game – where he scored a hat-trick in the 6-2 win over Leicester.
