But after the game, the Bernabeu manager was stalked by questions about Mbappe signing a move to the Spanish capital to stay at PSG.
Perez told Sport: “Today Mbappe doesn’t exist, Real Madrid exists, it’s a party for Real Madrid and their players who were European champions.”
In a separate interview, he told Movistar+: “I’m calm and happy, we’ve all worked hard all season to be able to achieve a situation like the one we’re in.
“Real Madrid will always work to have the best players but today Mbappe is already forgotten.
“Nothing happened, Real Madrid had a perfect season and that’s a forgotten topic, there’s just a party from Real Madrid.”
Mbappe, 23, appeared to be signing for Real on a free transfer until a last-minute agreement with PSG on an extension.
He is expected to earn a staggering £507million by the end of his three-year deal.
The French forward showed his admiration for Perez and admitted he supports Real against Liverpool.
