REAL MADRID is already planning a future nosedive for Erling Haaland – reportedly just days after his arrival at Manchester City.
Haaland, 21, was officially unveiled as a Man City player earlier this week.
The Sky Blues reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund on the £51m transfer of the superstar striker in May.
They faced stiff competition from Real Madrid and Barcelona for his signature but the prospect of working under Pep Guardiola in the Premier League was too good for Haaland to turn down.
However, Real Madrid haven’t given up the hunt for the striker just yet.
According to Spanish outlet AS, Los Blancos are ready to trigger a £130m release clause in 2024.
Haaland is said to have requested the clause be included in his contract as he is still interested in playing for the LaLiga giants at some point in his career.
Previous reports suggest Man City expect him to join Spain in the future.
The idea was even discussed in initial talks between the club and player representatives.
Real Madrid were once confident of signing Haaland AND Kylian Mbappe but missed out on both players.

The Frenchman has signed a lucrative deal with the Parisians worth a staggering £500million.
