Images of the 20-man 10v10 brawl were posted on social media and credited to Marca.

Real Madrid Ultras were dressed in white while their Atletico counterparts wore red.

The two groups of supporters were brutally snapped at an undisclosed location exchanging kicks and punches.

But social media users were quick to slam the Ultras for their stupidity.

One wrote: “This is actually just ridiculous.”

Another said: “Stupidity at the highest, highest level.”

And a third simply commented: “idiots”.

It’s not the first time that so-called fans have used football to organize a mass brawl.

Real Madrid make the short trip across town for tomorrow’s game to maintain the perfect start to the season.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side have won all five LaLiga games so far this season.

Atletico, meanwhile, have drawn one of their five games and lost one.
