Rarely seen child star Dylan Byrd of BRITAIN’S Got Talent is almost unrecognizable six years after appearing on the ITV show.
The dancer was just 16 years old when he auditioned for Simon Cowell and Co. and made it to the 2015 semifinals.
Dylan’s audition was incredibly memorable as the confident teenager performed an energetic routine to Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj’s Bang Bang.
Interestingly, Alesha Dixon actually buzzed Dylan’s audition — but Simon, David Walliams, and Amanda Holden took him to the next level.
In his live performance in the semifinals, Dylan performed to a medley of up-tempo songs including Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off and Meghan Trainor’s Lips Are Movin.
Alesha didn’t hit on him this time and seemed to enjoy the performance, but Dylan only came 8th in the public vote with a mere 3% vote.
His series Britain’s Got Talent was eventually won by dog trick duo Jules O’Dwyer & Matisse, while magician Jamie Raven finished second.
Now in his early 20s, Dylan lives a normal life — he shares glimpses of it on his Instagram page, with regular snaps with friends and family.
He graduated from university in November 2019, although it is not clear what his degree was.
It appears Dylan is still pursuing creative interests, with tagged photos showing him as part of a local theater community.
And the teen dancer also shares occasional throwbacks to celebs he met during his time on the ITV series, including Jesy Nelson.
