With the double date, 1992 – 1993, printed at the top, it is commonly referred to as UK EC 50p.

Only 109,000 coins were minted so this design is very rare.

In fact, that’s only half of the popular Kew Gardens 50p coin mint that once topped the Change Checker scarcity index.
