Beautiful Mind is yet to appear under the Florida artist’s Spotify profile and will be unavailable to purchase from retailers like Amazon as of June 10 at 8am EST.

On May 22, Wave posted a clip of himself scrolling through comments from Twitter users asking for the album release.

He said, “Sorry 4 da Wait (sic)” while accompanying the post with a heartbroken emoji.

Thousands of Instagram users flooded the post’s comments, expressing their frustration.

One said: “Man you got the whole world on lock drop this album (sic).”

Another commented: “Rodarius I’m getting very impatient.”

It comes after Wave was arrested for allegedly choking his ex-girlfriend, according to an affidavit. The charges have since been dropped.

Police officers responded to 911 calls at a woman’s home on April 24 and said she had claimed the rapper trespassed on her property.

She claimed he had become “physically aggressive,” according to the affidavit cited by the Tampa Bay Times.

The affidavit claimed the rapper choked the woman until she could not breathe.

The alleged incident happened while her two children were at home.

Wave reportedly left the house before returning a second time.

The affidavit claimed he took two pictures off the wall and threw them onto the porch and sidewalk.

And the woman is said to have had a scratch “near the middle of the neck,” according to the affidavit.

Wave was taken into custody in St. Petersburg, official records revealed.

According to his booking document, he was arrested on a felony charge of ‘battery by strangulation’.

He was released from the Pinellas County Jail on May 3 on $5,000 bail.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges and the case has since been dropped, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

An Osceola County prosecutor said, “The author believes this case does not merit prosecution.”

Wave is known for emotionally charged music, particularly his songs “Tombstone” and “Heart on Ice”.

He first rose to fame in 2021 after his album SoulFly took the number one spot previously held by Justin Bieber’s Justice, according to Billboard.

The album’s success also led to a 40-city tour and an appearance on The Tonight Show.

Wave was also reportedly recognized as a pioneer of soul trap.

The musician was first arrested in 2014 as a teenager for burglary but the charges were dropped.

Wave also faces a battery charge for misdemeanor following a suspected 2020 incident in Atlanta.
