Medics rushed the rapper to Brookdale University Hospital, where he eventually died from his injuries.

On Tuesday, his label Million Dollar Music Records paid tribute to backing vocalist in a social media post, writing: “It’s been an honor to be your friend until the very end. Your memories will always stay with us no matter where we go or do. What. Sleep in peace.

“#LongLiveTdott 🙏🏻 Just know that his legacy will live on forever, from his laughter to the dance that all the people in the world do, some of us know him as a friend, brother, cousin or just a fan but we’ve all come together to tell you FLY HIGH 🙏🏻.”

The rapper, born Tajay Dobson, was killed a few hours after signing a record deal, New York Daily News reported.

Tdott is a close friend of the late Brooklyn rapper Pop Smoke, who was also shot down in Los Angeles in February 2020.

Tdott Woo is said to have invented the feverish Woo Walk dance move.
