RAPPER Kid Trunks has sustained a serious wound to his face. It is unknown what caused the visible wound, but Trunks suggests he was shot.
He posted a bloody photo to Instagram of himself in a hospital bed with a deep cut on his chin. In the caption, Trunks asks people to pray for him.
Almost died twice and it’s only been three months in 2022.” he wrote. Trunks also mentions his cancer diagnosis earlier this year as he calls on people to stop gun violence.
“Down with your guns, man, that shit is real out here. Please also move accordingly and militantly everywhere and wherever you go, be safe, but above all stay dangerous!”
In an Instagram story, the rapper shared that he got the news after testing positive for Covid-19.
“I’ll keep this short, I really don’t need to explain anything to avoid hurting anyone, but I will!” he wrote. “I contracted Covid-19 and while examining my body, they discovered that I had pneumonia cancer, also known as breast cancer.”
Despite the life-threatening incident, Trunks has remained active on social media. He posted a screenshot of a FaceTime call with the musician Noah Cyrus.
“@noahcyrus, one of the few people I’ve met in this industry that really mean the world to me. Thanks for the love,” Trunks wrote in the story.
He was also seen talking to him Billie Eilish and fellow rapper Trippie Redd through FaceTime screenshots.
Trunks doesn’t let the incident deter him from work as he also promotes verses and features related to his story and asks people to reach out to him with projects.
The self-proclaimed “best Asian rapper alive” released his first major project, Super Saiyan, in 2018, featuring performances by Ski Mask The Slump God, A$AP Ant, Robb Bank$ and more.
In 2020 he released his latest project Moon.
