RALF RANGNICK wants his disgruntled Manchester United players to stop insulting and move on with it.
Confidence has bottomed The new manager’s short stint at the helm brought three wins, one draw and defeat in the league.
But with poor football, frustrated fringe players and others in doubt about their future, there is a dark cloud over the team.
Now boss Rangnick says it’s time to forget all that, accept the circumstances and get the results.
“We have players whose contracts expire in the summer,” Rangnick said. We may also have one or two players who want to leave and have contracts.
“It’s about the players dealing with that in a professional way, everyone has a chance to show up in training, to show off and to have a chance to play.
“If this is not the case, then of course the player, the club and the agents need to discuss the situation.
“As far as I can tell so far the players have dealt with that professionally, I can’t say anything else, if I realize that’s not the case I’ll deal with the matter. that with the players directly.”

With such a big roster, Rangnick said he can’t keep everyone happy, even if some believe that teammates are being noticed for name and fame rather than looks.
“This is not just a problem with a club like Manchester United,” he said.
“Overall, we’ve got most of the players, with the exception of Paul Pogba, and only 10 players off the pitch that can play, plus three subs.
“So you have quite a few players who are not playing or not even in the squad.
“Those players are not happy about that situation, that’s obvious, obviously. I tend to explain to the players every two or three weeks why they are not playing and that is a problem in our team and other clubs. ”
Rangnick says that although he cannot comment on the atmosphere surrounding the entire club, he knows his players are still frustrated with the situation. Losing 0-1 at home to Wolves last time.
He said: “I can only tell you about the squad, obviously I don’t know about the atmosphere inside the club.
“The players, the dressing room, the coaching staff, everyone was very disappointed after the game against Wolves.
“All the players are disappointed, just like myself.
“In the first half, we didn’t capture the build-up of Wolves. The second half went better, but we didn’t score and conceded 10 minutes.
“It’s a question of balance, between attack and defense, attacking we have quality but we have to show the best balance we can.”
Rangnick is trying to implement pressing play in a 4-2-2-2 . formation this was only really evident in his opening game, a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace, and early in the first half a 3-1 win over Burnley.

He said: “At least they’re trying, I’m sure they’re listening and we’ve shown in games against Palace, Burnley and in games against Norwich and Newcastle that they are trying to follow suit. advice that I give.
“We are conceding fewer goals than before. However, it’s about balance, we need to find the best possible balance between attack and defense and this is something that we have to improve on. ”
United now take a break from the league with a FA Cup third round against Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Monday.
