Putin looks shaky and unstable as he climbs off the plane after a laborious flight to make sure he wasn’t shot down

PARANOID Vladimir Putin looks shaky and unstable as he climbs off the plane after taking elaborate measures to avoid being shot down by Ukrainian troops.

The Russian leader, who flew to Belarus today to meet his close ally Alexander Lukashenko, is believed to have taken off from St. Petersburg – rather than Moscow to avoid getting close to Ukraine.

Meanwhile, two more planes took off at the same time to “confuse the enemy,” according to Belarusian opposition broadcaster Motolkohelp.

Video footage shows a shaky Russian president taking a small leap as he descends the stairs from his plane.

He was greeted by two women with bread and flowers before meeting Lukashenko.

Lukashenko’s son Nikolai, 18, who has been proposed as his successor, greeted him at the airport alongside his father.

One of Putin’s security guards appeared to be carrying a briefcase with a protective vest.

Mad Vlad is said to have received a battle escort as he approached Minsk.

He is believed to have flown to Minsk – for his first visit in three years – on a “Flying Kremlin” jet, a special Il-96-300PU.

“According to our information, Vladimir Putin flew to Minsk on this plane,” the Telegram channel said.

“For conspiracy purposes, three government aircraft he is using were airlifted simultaneously – RA-96022, RA-96014 and RA-96020.”

Approaching from the north, Putin flew closer to NATO members Latvia and Lithuania – but left Ukraine behind.

The speculation behind the Russian leader’s rare visit was that he would pressure Lukashenko to send troops to Ukraine to fight alongside Russian forces after a series of humiliating defeats.

Ukrainian government official Anton Gerashchenko tweeted: “Putin visited Belarus for the first time since June 2019.

“He probably came to convince Lukashenko that he was directly involved in the war.”

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, however, dismissed the reports as “completely stupid, baseless inventions”.

Putin told his Belarusian ally he hopes to deepen economic ties between the countries during the visit, praising Belarus as “our ally in every sense of the word”.

Putin was accompanied in Minsk by his Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

According to reports, Putin is constantly accompanied by cancer doctors when he travels.

In recent years, there has been speculation about Putin’s health as rumors swirled that he was suffering from a serious illness.

It has been claimed that the Russian President suffers from a range of diseases – including cancer, Parkinson’s disease and schizoaffective disorder.

His rare visit comes in the wake of a drone strike by Russian forces in Kyiv that triggered emergency power outages in several regions.
