Puppy Bowl 2022 – Special adoption of animal planet [PHOTOS]

Before the Rams and Bengals go head to head at Super Bowl LVI On Sunday, a much more important – but no less animal-themed battle – must first be waged.

That’s right, everyone, every year Puppy Bowl is back for the 18th straight year of fur soccer action. The special event launches at 2/1c on Animal Planet, at which point it can also be streamed on Discovery+. A pre-screening will air at 1pm.

But with 103 competitors, how can each dog hope to stand out? Having a name like Rob Gronchowski and Odell Barkham certainly didn’t hurt. And for all of you RuPaul’s Drag Race UK fans out there, what are the odds that this year’s team will include dogs named Bimini and Tayce? Now, now.

Not only are Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart back as the big show hosts, but they’re also acting as coaches this time around. Snoop will train Fluff, while Stewart will command Team Ruff.

“I’m honored to be co-hosting the only sporting event on the planet that is guaranteed to be a huge hit,” Coach Snoop said in a statement.

As always, this 3-hour event also aims to raise awareness about the importance of pet adoption. Click here for official adoption information, direct from the Puppy Bowl.
