How to capture gameplay footage on PS5

Press the create button on your PlayStation DualSense controller to open the menu.

From there you can take a screenshot or start a recording.

Playing time is limited to one hour per recording session.

You can also click Save Last Gameplay to save anything from the last 15 seconds to an hour.

How to find PS5 game recordings on your phone

First, make sure your PS5 is linked to the PlayStation app.

And you also want to keep your PS5 in rest mode.

Make sure the “Stay connected to the internet” setting is turned on for Quiet mode.

Now open the PlayStation app and select “Library”.

Then go to “Recordings” and select “Enable”.

This will enable automatic uploading on your PS5.

Sony explained: “By enabling this feature, your PS5 console will start uploading game captures to the cloud automatically. Your gameplay recordings will then be available on the PlayStation App for 14 days after they are created on your PS5 console.”

Gameplay video footage will be uploaded if it is less than three minutes long and not in 4K.

You can also manually upload recordings to the PlayStation app by clicking the Options button in your PS5 Media Gallery.
