It came during a visit to Colham Manor Children’s Center in Hillingdon, West London.

Kate told staff, “I think more places like this would be so valuable in communities and bring people together.”

She spoke to mothers about issues ranging from loneliness to postpartum depression and addiction.

Kate, who is dedicated to improving children’s first five years of life, believing that early intervention can prevent problems that develop later in life, met staff and volunteers, as well as mothers and babies, who run the center to use.

The center provides support in a non-clinical setting at an elementary school to women who feel vulnerable even before birth, and aims to help them become more resilient and raise happy, healthy children.
