EX-BOXER Prince Naseem Hamed is embroiled in a £12million family feud, his brother says.
Naseem, 48, is reportedly claiming his late parents’ entire fortune – but his siblings are denying it.
His brother Ali says they have communicated through lawyers since their mother’s death two years ago – and the ex-boxer is gaining weight.
Ali, 44, said: “His weight is a result of trauma and stress.
“He turned around and just ate and ate.”
The dispute centers on money Naseem gave his parents to buy properties which have risen in value to £12million.
Naseem, who was worth £50million before quitting boxing in 2002 aged 28, claims he is entitled to all of it.
But his eight siblings, led by Dubai’s Riath, insist it was a gift and not an investment.
The dispute is now to be settled in a courtroom in Dubai.
Ali, who lives in Sheffield, where Naseem was born, added: “So much of his fortune has been blown up the wall including buying the largest mango farm in Yemen which is now completely dead and disheveled.”
Dedicating his interview to Naseem’s late boxing trainer Brendan Ingle, Ali said of his brother, who was recently spotted in Windsor: “He’s just greedy.
“The more you eat in life, the hungrier you are.”
