Presidential hopeful Rollan Roberts II toasted himself over the shocking moment he “did nothing” while the pregnant woman fainted

An American presidential candidate has been roasted online after taking longer than expected to respond to his pregnant wife’s impotence.

As Rollan Roberts II announced his campaign in West Virginia last Friday, his wife, Rebecca Lea Roberts, fell to the ground and took down an American flag.

The Republican candidate stared in silence for a few seconds as a group of aides tended to his wife, who is five months pregnant, the New York Post reported.

Rollan eventually stepped over to kneel beside her, but not fast enough for many social media commenters.

“He doesn’t love her,” said one Twitter user wrote. “Why did it take him so damn long to respond?!”

Other asked when “anyone else gets the vibe they only moved when they thought about how bad it would look to keep standing there?”

The contestant was subjected to another round of banter after his campaign uploaded a video of the speech to YouTube, which removed footage of Rebecca’s medical episode.

“I love how you edited out the really embarrassing part,” said one commenter.

Rebecca stayed at Rollan’s side for the rest of his speech, but instead of getting up, she sat on a folding chair and reached for a bottle of water.

“Can we help out with the medical team for support?” Rollan said, according to the West Virginia Daily News.

“She’s five months pregnant. Her blood pressure is fine, so we thank the Lord for that.”

The incident took place at the West Virginia State Capitol, where Rollan’s father, Rollan Roberts I, serves as a Senator.

The baby, who will be named Rollan III, is due in July, according to his father’s campaign website. The candidate also has two daughters, 17 and 21, from a previous marriage.

In his speech, Rollan said he wanted to “lead America in solving the great problems of our time in a way that lays the foundation for our leadership and excellence in the 22nd century.”

His campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
